A Voice for the Technology Industry
As an advocate for technology companies in New Jersey, the New Jersey Tech Council (NJTC) continuously monitors federal and state policies that impact the growth of New Jersey’s technology industry. Our member companies offer strength in numbers which the Council utilizes to inform and educate policy makers on issues that are important to New Jersey’s technology community.
On the National Scene
NJTC is partnered with TECNA and CompTIA, both national technology trade associations. Representing our members we:
- Participate in monthly conference calls to discuss current federal legislation affecting the technology industry
- Lend support/opposition to pending legislation
- Offer our members the opportunity to participate in national webinars
Tech Fly In
The NJ Tech Council (NJTC) members ONLY are invited to participate in the annual Tech Fly In to Washington D.C. Typically held the first quarter of the year, members enjoy a day of briefings with lawmakers and meetings with NJ’s House and Senate representatives. Policy priorities are identified and presented to each of the NJ delegates at individual meetings in their respective House and Senate offices. Congressmen are happy to meet their constituents. This is the perfect opportunity to introduce yourself to the Senator or Representative from your voting district.
You may receive Legislative Alert emails from time to time. Please don’t ignore them. This is our way of keeping your informed of pending legislation which may be important to you and your company. A simple, easy to use portal is provided for you to contact the legislators in your district in support or opposition to pending legislation. Go to CONTACT YOUR LEGISLATOR to voice your opinion.
