Fall 2018 Issue

We had an amazing run so far this year with a fantastic Venture Conference, Future Forum, CFO+Investor Awards, Leadership Summit, Annual Meeting, FinTech Conference and a zillion other programs. The Future Forum at Bell Works not only included our annual HealthTech Conference and Innovation Forecast, but also a new awards program called Winners’ Circle which highlighted Rising Stars in STEM. At the Annual Meeting in July, we were delighted to have the new CEO of the NJEDA speak as well as the new head of the IEEE and former CTO of the US Department of Defense/DARPA.

We hope to see you at our CIO Conference and Awards on October 3 where the new Chief Innovation Officer of New Jersey will speak. She will be followed by our keynote, the CIO of Ralph Lauren and then the featured speaker, the former Cyber Major from the Army. Of course, we will also honor a fantastic group of CIOs and CISOs.

Then on October 11 at NJIT we will present the annual Women Tech Conference which will bring together amazing speakers, professionals and students to share best practices and inspiration. Lastly, save November 8 to join our Tech Day at Rutgers, New Brunswick, which will feature sessions on Smart Cities, Acceleration (SAP exec) and Tech Transfer as well as a Data Summit (Facebook/Instagram exec) You can always keep up to date with what’s happening at the Tech Council by visiting njtechcouncil.org. I look forward to seeing you soon!
